📚SchoolResourcePro

Help

📲 Want it as an app? Install SchoolResourcePro on your phone: step-by-step pictures for iPhone and Android.

On this page: For staff · For leads · For school admins · Billing · Teacher Resources · Teacher Resources for schools · Need help?

For staff

  • Getting in: your school admin adds you (you get an email to set your password), or, if your school allows it, join at schoolresourcepro.app/join with your school email. Then sign in with your email and password.
  • Find things: open a section on the Library page, or type in the search box at the top. Search looks in titles, descriptions and the text of help pages.
  • Open a resource: files open in the browser (PDFs and pictures) or download (Word, Excel…); links open the website; help pages show right in the app. You always get the newest version.
  • To read: some resources (like the staff handbook) must be confirmed. They're listed under ✅ To read; open one, read it, and press I've read it. If it's updated, you'll be asked again.
  • Favorites: tap ☆ on anything to keep it under ⭐ Favorites.
  • On a phone: the bar at the bottom has Library, To read, Favorites and Help.

For leads

  • Your admin chooses which sections you lead (for example Grade 3 or Technology). You can publish and edit there; admins can publish anywhere.
  • Add a resource: press + Add a resource and choose A file (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text or picture, up to 25 MB), A link, or A help page you write in the app.
  • Help pages: start a line with # for a heading, - for a bullet, 1. for a numbered step; put **two stars** around words for bold; web addresses become links.
  • Who sees it: all staff, or only certain groups (grades, departments). Admins and the section's leads always see it.
  • Must-read: tick Staff must confirm they've read it. On the resource, See who has confirmed lists who has and hasn't. A new file version, or It changed: ask staff to confirm again on a page or link, asks everyone again.
  • New version of a file: edit it and upload the new file. Staff get the newest one; Version history keeps the old ones, and Restore makes an old one current again (as a new version, so nothing is lost).
  • Review dates: set Review by and you (and the section's leads) get an email a week before and on the day. Reviews due on the Library page lists them; press Mark reviewed and pick the next date.
  • Archive hides a resource from staff without deleting it; Bring back undoes it. 📌 Pin keeps it at the top of its section.

For school admins

  • Register your school on the homepage: start typing its name and pick it (the nearest schools are listed first). New schools start with four sections you can rename or remove.
  • Manage → Sections: add, rename, reorder and remove sections, and choose each section's leads.
  • Manage → Staff: add people (they get an email to set a password), choose their role (Staff view only, Lead, Admin), put them in groups, send a new password link, or turn an account off.
  • Manage → Groups: your grades and departments, used to share resources with only some staff.
  • Manage → School: school details and the staff email domain: staff with an email there can join on their own, and teachers with that email also get Teacher Resources free.

Billing

  • The school plan includes Teacher Resources free for all your teachers (individual teachers pay $10.00 a year on their own).
  • Every school gets 60 days free. After that it's one payment per school year: $199, or $99 if your school also uses FieldTripPro or DismissPro, or $59 with both.
  • Manage → Billing shows your status and price. Enter your FieldTripPro and DismissPro School IDs there for the lower price: it's confirmed automatically when one of your admins here is an admin there with the same email, otherwise we confirm it by hand within a business day.
  • Pay by PayPal or card, or download a quote or ask for an invoice (purchase orders welcome, Net 30). A W-9 is available on the payment page. Nothing renews automatically; we email you before your year ends.
  • If the trial or paid year ends and isn't renewed (after a 30-day grace period), publishing new resources pauses. Nothing is deleted, and staff can always still open everything.

Teacher Resources (for teachers)

  • What it is: a library of worksheets, lesson plans, units, posters, assessments and more that you can download and use in your classroom. Browse it at schoolresourcepro.app/teacher-resources.
  • What it costs: $10.00 for 12 months and unlimited downloads: you never pay per resource. It never renews by itself; we email you about 30 days before it ends. If your school uses SchoolResourcePro it's free for you (see below).
  • Join on your own: go to Join, enter your name and email, and open the email we send to set a password. Then open My account and pay with PayPal or a card. Use your school email if you have one: if your school is on SchoolResourcePro you won't need to pay.
  • Sign in: there is one sign-in for everyone at Sign in: school staff and teachers who joined on their own use the same page. Forgot your password? Use Forgot password there.
  • Find things: use the search bar, or the Grade, Subject (math, science, ELA and more) and Resource type drop-down menus. The chips under them show what you picked; tap one to remove it.
  • Sort & group: open Sort & group to sort by title, subject, grade, resource type, date or most downloaded, and to group the list (for example by subject, then grade). Tick the choices in the order you want; the numbers show the nesting. Your choices are remembered.
  • Views: the View buttons switch between List (names only), Details (columns; click a column title to sort), Icons (big tiles with a picture of the first page) and Preview (click a file and it opens in a pane next to the list; arrow keys move up and down). The same buttons work in your school's library.
  • Previews: before you join you see a low-quality, watermarked preview of each resource. Members get the full-quality file. Free samples are full downloads for everyone.
  • Copyright: every Teacher Resources material is copyright schoolresourcepro.app, and each download has the notice added automatically (a footer on PDFs, a closing line in Word and Excel files, a line on every PowerPoint slide). Use the files in your own classroom; please don't resell or share them. Files your school uploads to its own library are yours and never carry this notice.
  • Download & save: open a resource and press Download beside each file. Use ☆ Save for later, then the ★ Saved button to see your saved list.
  • Suggest a Resource: can't find what you need? Open Suggest a Resource (found inside Teacher Resources), describe it and pick the subject, grades and resource type. You need a Teacher Resources account (free to create) or your school sign-in. Other teachers can press ▲ +1 on suggestions they need too; the most wanted get made first. Your suggestions are under My suggestions, and we email you when it's ready. Names are never shown publicly. You can send 5 suggestions a day.
  • My account: shows your membership end date, a Renew button (it adds 12 months to what you have left) and your payments.

Teacher Resources for schools

  • Included in the school plan. When your school is on SchoolResourcePro (during the 60-day trial, while paid, and during the grace period), every teacher gets all of Teacher Resources free. The school's price is the same whether or not teachers use it.
  • Signed-in staff: open Teacher Resources in the top menu of your school library. No extra sign-in or payment.
  • Staff with a school email: a teacher who joins Teacher Resources with an email at your school's staff email domain (set in Manage → School) and sets a password from the emailed link gets full access free, without needing a school library account.
  • If the school's plan ends (trial or paid year runs out and the grace period passes), teachers go back to the $10.00 a year membership, or you can renew the school.
